Laura Olufunmilayo Oyewale (born 1985) lives and works in Frankfurt am Main. The artist's works  explore ways of understanding identity and the concept of self as a complex construct of recurring patterns. Working primarely as a new media artist  her sound and video installations intertwine instrumental music pieces, sound and rhythmical patterns produced and composed by the artist with visual landscapes exploring the human psyche.
Laura Funmi Oyewale exhibited her works in Germany and Switzerland.
